Surgical ICU
The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) provides care for patients who have undergone surgery for a wide range of conditions.
Our team of specialists includes Surgeons, Physicians, Anaesthesiologists, Medical Officers, Nurses, and Physiotherapists.
We work together to ensure that each patient receives the best possible care.
The SICU is a 10 – bed unit and is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We offer a wide range of services, including:
Preoperative evaluation and counselling
Postoperative care
Pain management
Nutritional support
Wound care
IV antibiotic therapy
Mechanical ventilation
Hemodynamic monitoring
Cardiac monitoring
Arterial, central, peripheral line management
Drain management
