Instructions for X-Ray Patients
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be easily removed.
- Do not wear any jewellery, body piercings, or hairpins.
- Remove all metal objects from your pockets, such as wallets, coins, and keys.
- Let the technologist know if you are pregnant or if you suspect you may be pregnant.
- Let the technologist know if you have any medical conditions or if you are taking any medications.
- Let the technologist know if you have any metal implants or medical devices in your body.
- Follow any instructions given by the technologist before, during, and after the x-ray.
- Hold still and remain as still as possible during the procedure.
